The United Nations Security Council is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, tasked with maintaining international peace and security. It is the only committee where the delegates are given the ability to impose sanctions and military actions against member states in the case of an urgent international crisis. The UNSC is the only committee that can put forth binding resolutions, allowing the committee to be accompanied with quality debates, making even the most experienced delegates think on their feet and innovate.
